What a custom exhibition stand includes

A custom stand starts with your brief, not a catalogue. We study the floor plan allotted by the organiser, whether the space is open on one, two, three or four sides, your product mix and what you want visitors to do once they step in — watch a demo, sit down for a meeting, collect a sample or register as a lead. The layout, height, sightlines and branding are then built around those goals.

Every Management Touch custom stand is delivered turnkey, with a single point of responsibility:

• Concept and 3D design — layouts, photorealistic renders and a material schedule before anything is built.
• Fabrication — structure, joinery, finishes, display units and furniture produced in our own workshops.
• Graphics and lighting — large-format prints, backlit fabric (SEG) light boxes, LED screens and track lighting.
• Logistics and installation — transport, venue coordination, build-up, finishing and handover before show opening.
• Dismantling — removal within the organiser’s breakdown window, with reusable elements returned or stored.

How we build it

Stands are pre-built and checked at our fabrication units in Greater Noida West and Bhiwandi before they travel. Pre-assembly lets us check joints, paint finish, graphic alignment and electrical loads in the workshop instead of discovering problems on the show floor during a two- or three-day build-up. For exhibitions at India Expo Mart, Bharat Mandapam or Mumbai’s major venues, this means installation is largely assembly and finishing, which keeps the build-up predictable.

We also prepare the documentation most organisers ask for: stand drawings with dimensions and heights, electrical load details, and material declarations for fire-retardant finishes. Where a design goes above standard height limits or adds an upper floor, we move the project to our double decker stand process, which includes structural approval.

Materials and finishes

Most custom stands combine a timber structure of plywood and MDF with laminate, PU paint or veneer finishes, and aluminium profiles where a lighter, cleaner edge is needed. Flooring is usually a raised platform finished in carpet, vinyl or laminated wooden flooring, which also hides cabling. Brand walls use digitally printed vinyl, 3D acrylic or metal letters, and backlit fabric for an even, glowing wall that reads from across the hall. Storage rooms, reception counters, demo tables and meeting pods are built to your product dimensions, not a standard size.

What drives the cost

As an indicative starting point, designer and custom stalls begin at around ₹8,000 per square metre onward. The final figure depends on stand size and number of open sides, structure height, finish quality, the amount of backlit graphics and AV, furniture, venue charges and how tight the timeline is. Every quotation we issue is transparent and itemised, so you can see where the budget goes and adjust the scope line by line.

We recommend booking six to eight weeks before the show for a custom stand. That allows time for design revisions, organiser approvals and unhurried fabrication.
