How modular systems work

A modular stand is built around a kit of standard components: aluminium extrusion frames, connectors, infill panels, tension-fabric graphics, counters, shelving and lighting. Because the parts are engineered to fit together in fixed increments, the same kit can become a 3 × 3 metre corner stand at one show and a larger inline or peninsula stand at the next, simply by adding or removing modules. Graphics are changed for each campaign, while the structure stays the same.

This makes modular stands the practical choice for brands with a busy exhibition calendar across several cities, companies running dealer meets and roadshows, and first-time exhibitors who want a professional presence without a one-time build.

What we supply

  • Frame system — aluminium profiles for walls, header fascia and light boxes, finished in silver or powder-coated colours.
  • Graphics — SEG backlit fabric, printed fabric and vinyl panels that can be swapped between shows.
  • Display elements — counters, product shelves, brochure racks, lockable storage and screen mounts built to fit the system.
  • Lighting — LED light boxes, spotlights and strip lighting integrated into the frame.
  • Flooring and furniture — platform flooring, carpet or vinyl, and meeting furniture on hire or purchase.

Where you want more personality than a pure system allows, we combine modular frames with custom joinery pieces such as a feature counter or a branded arch — a hybrid approach we also use on custom exhibition stands.

Own it or hire it

You can buy the kit and have us store, refurbish and install it for each show, or hire it per event. Ownership makes sense if you exhibit frequently with a consistent stand size. Hiring suits occasional exhibitors or brands still testing which shows work for them. In both cases, installation is faster than a fully built stand, since parts slot together rather than being carpentered and painted on site. That helps at venues with short build-up windows.

Cost and planning

Modular stands start from around ₹1,000 per square metre onward as an indicative rate. Cost depends on stand size, the proportion of backlit versus printed graphics, custom elements, furniture, lighting and freight between cities. The saving grows with repeat use, because the frame is paid for once and only graphics and logistics are repeated.

Planning a modular stand works best across the whole year rather than show by show. If you share your exhibition calendar and the likely stand size at each event, we design one kit that covers the largest configuration and scales down cleanly for smaller spaces. Graphics are designed in a template so your marketing team can update messaging and products for each show without redesigning the stand from scratch.

If your need is a basic, organiser-supplied booth, see Octonorm and shell scheme stalls. For a system stand planned across your show calendar, request a quote with your stand sizes and cities.

Process

How we deliver it

Process in detail
  1. Brief & site/stand survey

We understand your objectives, audience, budget and deadline, study the organiser manual or site conditions, and confirm the measurements that everything else depends on.

  2. 3D concept & itemised quote

Our in-house designers produce layouts and photo-realistic 3D views with a line-by-line quotation — materials, graphics, AV, furniture — so you approve exactly what will be built.

  3. Engineering & approvals

Production drawings, structural details for double-deckers, electrical loads and organiser or landlord submissions are prepared and cleared before a single panel is cut.

  4. In-house fabrication

Carpentry, metalwork, paint, laminates and graphics are produced at our Greater Noida West and Bhiwandi units, then pre-assembled and checked before dispatch.

  5. Logistics & installation

Our own crew transports, installs, wires and finishes on site under one supervisor, working to the venue build-up window or your site schedule.

  6. Handover, support & dismantling

We hand over a snag-free space, stay on call during the show or first weeks of occupation, and dismantle, store or reuse components afterwards.

FAQs

Modular Exhibition Stands: common questions

What are modular exhibition stands?

Modular exhibition stands are flexible systems made from reusable components — aluminium frames, panels, fabric graphics, counters and lighting — that can be configured for different stand sizes, layouts and events. The structure is reused while graphics are changed for each campaign or show.

How much does a modular exhibition stand cost?

Modular exhibition stands start from around ₹1,000 per square metre onward as an indicative rate. The final cost depends on stand size, backlit versus printed graphics, custom elements, furniture, lighting and freight. Because the frame is reused, the cost per show falls as you exhibit more often.

Can a modular exhibition stand be customised?

Yes. Modular stands can be customised with your brand colours, graphics, lighting, furniture, product displays and storage. We can also combine the modular frame with custom joinery pieces, such as a feature counter or branded arch, for a more distinctive look.

How quickly can a modular stand be installed?

Modular stands are generally faster to install and dismantle than fully built custom stands because components slot together rather than being carpentered and painted on site. Exact installation time depends on stand size and design, which makes modular systems well suited to venues with short build-up windows.

Should we buy or hire a modular stand?

Buying makes sense if you exhibit frequently with a consistent stand size; we can store, refurbish and install the kit for each show. Hiring suits occasional exhibitors or brands still testing which exhibitions work for them. We supply both options for exhibitions across India.
